Project Description
The project focuses on supporting the sustainable consumption and production program – Marrakesh process (United Nations Environment Programme, Division of Technology Industry and Economics - DTIE). In this context, the project includes:
- The preparation of the progress report to support the development of a 10-year framework of programs on sustainable production and consumption to be presented to the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) at the 18th session in New York (2010).
- The preparation of the progress report on the procedure for Sustainable Production and Consumption launched in Marrakech (Marrakesh process)
Description of Provided Services
As an external partner in this project, Living Prospects carried out the following actions:- Bibliographic research focusing on the activities that have taken place in the past in Marrakech (mainly exhibitions and events).
- Interviews with staff of the United Nations Environment Programme and the European Commission, as well as project managers of other entities involved in the process in Marrakech.
- Participation in the editorial team of the progress report to support the development of a 10-year framework of programs on sustainable production and consumption to be presented to the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) at the 18th session in New York (2010).
- Participation in the editorial team of the Progress Report on the Process on Sustainable Production and Consumption launched in Marrakech (Marrakesh process).
