Bioclimatic Design

Our premises occupy a high-end building complex designed to exploit the local climate. The bioclimatic design of the building delivers:

  • Heat protection in both winter and summer through insulation and air-tightness of the external envelope and openings.
  • Use of solar energy for winter heating and year-round daylighting via optimum orientation and south-facing openings.
  • Protection from the summer sun through shading and the use of reflective colours and surfaces.
  • Removal of accumulated summer heat using passive cooling systems and natural ventilation.
  • Comfortable interior conditions through increased air movement and thermal storage in walls.
  • Solar control for daylighting that provides sufficient and evenly distributed light in interior spaces.
  • Improvement of the microclimate around the building through bioclimatic design of exterior spaces and the built environment.

Recycling Practices

Applying a top-down approach, we ramp up our efforts to go greener every day. We use modern archiving technologies and our local network to avoid unnecessary printing, recycle all waste streams, refill our printer cartridges, and dispose of equipment and batteries safely through recycling programmes.

Energy Friendly

We use central high-end climate-control equipment for heating and cooling, and low-consumption, environment-friendly light bulbs throughout the office.
